We want to make the way you bank and spend money as simple as possible, so we’ve gathered all the information about the features of your Adapt account, in one place.

Make banking simple with our mobile app

Lock and Unlock your card

If you've misplaced your card, you can lock it until you find it. Card been lost, stolen, damaged? The quickest way to report this is with our app.

View your bank account on the go

Check your accounts and balance. View your recent transactions and transfer money between your own accounts.

Get Cash without your card

If you leave your card at home you can withdraw up to £130 every 24 hours from our branded ATMs. You must have at least £10 available in your account and an active debit card. Simply log in to your app, click your current account tile and click 'Get Cash'.

Pay in cheques securely

Just take a photo of the front and back of the cheque using our app and the money will be paid into your account.

  1. On your mobile or tablet, open the camera and point your device at the QR code.
  2. A link will pop up, tap this, and you’ll be taken straight to download the app.

  1. On your mobile or tablet, go to the App Store if using Apple or Google Play if using Android.

Activate your card

How to activate your card.

If you're new to NatWest, we'll post your contactless debit card and PIN separately within a few days of opening your account. Once your card arrives we'll explain how to activate it.

If you're already a NatWest customer and have recently changed your account, there's no need to activate. You get to keep your existing card and PIN. 

If your existing card is not contactless and you have an eligible account, you can request a new card, giving you a quick and simple way to make purchases. Retailer limits apply.

Just add your debit or credit card to digital wallet - Apple Pay or Google Pay™ on your phone for an easy and secure way to pay. Apple Pay and Google Pay are available on selected devices. Retailer limits may apply.

Direct Debits

Direct debits give a company permission to take money from your bank account on an agreed date. They’ll need to notify you of a change to the amount or date. For example, you might use a Direct Debit to pay for your gym membership or to your school for meals or trips.

You tell us (the bank) to pay an exact amount to another account regularly. For example, you might set up a Standing Order to put money in a savings account or make a regular payment to a friend or family member.
