- The easiest way to add, change or remove signatories on your account is by completing one of the mandate forms below.
- To avoid delays or having to start again, it's important to select the right form, either Business or Commercial, for your business or organisation. There is guidance on this below.
- NEW: If you want to add a new signatory, some customers can now do this via the mobile banking app. This is available if you’re a Business Sole Trader, Limited Company, or UK Company Limited by Guarantee and do not require multiple signing groups.
Business customers
This form may be right for you if:
- Your turnover is generally £2M or below annually
- Your day to day contact team is Businessline – 03457 11 44 77

Adding a signatory using the NatWest Mobile Banking app:
If you’re a Business Sole Trader, Limited Company, or UK Company Limited by Guarantee and do not require multiple signing groups, you can follow these steps:
- Login to the NatWest app
- Select the profile icon at the top of the account screen
- Select ‘Manage business details’
- Select either the ‘Mandates and Signatories’ or ‘Mandates and Third Parties’ button and follow the steps provided
As an extra protection measure, you’ll also need to have Biometric approval on the app to add a signatory. If you haven’t activated this yet, once logged on the app, you will be prompted to do so.
Commercial & Corporate customers
This form may be right for you if:
- Your turnover is generally in excess of £2m annually
- Your day to day contact team is your Customer Service Team
