The machines we have are all a slightly different price. Our comparison table shows you what you get with each model. To help new customers save money, we're waiving the hire fees for the initial 3 months of your contract*.

You can also take payments online and over the phone, using our Virtual Gateway, so it could open up a whole new customer base for you.

You can accept online payments through your website using Tyl’s secure payment pages, via a secure link if you’re not online, or over the phone on a device such as a laptop, tablet or desktop computer. If you don’t have a website you can ask your customers to pay by link, so they can make a purchase directly online. It’s simple and safe. 

Card readers are like smaller versions of card machines. They have a small screen and a PIN pad. Their mini size means they can be helpful if you're taking payments on the move.  

We have a range of card machines that could suit your business whether you’re taking card payments for the first time or you’re looking for ways to improve your cash flow process. As a Tyl customer, you’ll also have access to Payit, which allows NatWest mobile app users to share payment requests. Eligibility criteria and limits apply.

Yes, it'll handle all sorts. You'll be able to take credit and debit card payments from Mastercard, Visa, and American Express. You can also take contactless payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Handy, hey?

That's pretty much your choice. How do you usually connect to the internet? The Clover Flex lets you use 3G and/or Wi-Fi, the Ingenico Move is either Wi-Fi or 3G so you'd need to be sure which you wanted. As the Ingenico Desk sits on your countertop it'll need an ethernet cable to connect

With Tyl, you can take payments securely online whether you’re using hosted payments pages or our virtual terminal. Taking payments in these ways helps keep your cardholder data safe and minimises your PCI exposure. When you take payments on our hosted pages or using a pay by link, you also get the added benefit of 3D Secure authentication, which helps reduce fraud and reduce your liability for chargebacks. 3DS2 is a way to make card payments more secure. Tyl is already compliant, meeting the government’s new PSD2 regulations, so you’re good to go.
